Arman (Armand Pierre Fernandez) (1928, Nice – 2005, New York City) was a prominent French artist known for his innovative use of found objects and assemblage techniques. A leading figure in the Nouveau Réalisme movement, Arman’s works often feature collections of everyday items, from broken instruments to discarded objects, arranged in ways that challenge conventional notions of art.
