Collection: Ben Vautier

Ben Vautier (1935, Naples - 2024, Nice) was a provocative artist known for his use of text in art, combining political and social commentary with visual elements. Emerging in the 1950s, his work, influenced by Dada and Nouveau Réalisme, challenges traditional aesthetics.

Inspired by Yves Klein and Marcel Duchamp, Vautier’s art features prominently in the Fluxus movement and "Figuration Libre."

Vautier lives between France and Italy and remains a significant figure in contemporary art. At Kunsthandel Meijer, we offer works by Ben Vautier. For more information, please contact us.
