Ed Ruscha

Ed Ruscha (1937, Omaha, NE) is an American artist associated with the Pop Art movement of the 1960s. Based in Los Angeles, Ruscha's work offers a West Coast interpretation of the genre, which is often seen as predominantly a New York movement, embodied by figures like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
